Just when I thought things couldn’t get more racist…wow

This is extremely disconcerting. I do think you should post this on the AI sub as well just to let other AMs be aware of this. I definitely agree with you that they will most likely tell their AM clients to “stop being patriarchal and consider homosexuality” or something to that effect (it’s ridiculously common how often I hear this from Asian feminists…I believe Jenn Fang is one of them). In other words, their consultation will simply emasculate AMs even more and I’m worried that naive AMs who are not woke will fall for this

Not to mention, there are a lot of very depressed (a few even suicidal) AMs out there due to the huge amount of, not only emasculation, but also sheer prejudice that they face out of all the minority groups. I know personally because many of them had reached out and confided in me. These WMAF therapists or Asian feminist consultants/counselors/whatever will just make it worst for AMs who are already depressed and looking for help. So quite frankly speaking, I am very worried about this. They’re essentially telling these AMs that it’s 100% their fault why the world treats them negatively and telling them to just deal with it and embrace their emasculation (hence the “consider homosexuality/stop being patriarchal” sentiment). How the hell is that NOT going to make things worst for depressed AMs?

I agree with @Danger . I think being exposed to other narratives on the internet helps a lot in re-shaping how AFs think of white men. It’s like an educational process. The things we post here, on the AI sub, the AsianMasc sub, the hapas sub, random blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and even other places such as Quora or Yahoo Answers are helping that process along. We’re allowing them to see why the white gentleman stereotype is false and how whites are not as perfect as they first imagined but more importantly, we’re giving them reasons to be proud of their heritage. Before the internet, whites controlled the narrative 100% but I believe that’s slowly coming to an end. More and more POC everywhere (not just Asians) I’ve seen across several media platforms are now reclaiming their roots. There are tons of Tumblr blogs (some even by Asian girls) dedicated to exposing white lies now while displaying Asian pride at the same time (one of them is called “ReclaimingAsia” and there was another recent post that I was surprised to see went viral on Tumblr; it was basically a collection of images of Asian men and the caption talked about how it’s time to celebrate AMs and fight their emasculation. Around 90k tumblr bloggers reblogged that, at least half of which were Asian girls.

Thing is, Asians in Asia do not understand how bad the racism is because Hollywood is such a powerful propaganda machine but maybe, with all the white people flocking to Asia, maybe they’ll see that white people aren’t the perfect angels they’re portrayed to be and they can be just as hateful as anyone else. But back to the divide and conquer strategy. That is what Asians in Asia need to know first and foremost I think. The divide and conquer strategy and how it’s been employed over time especially in Asia.

We are doing our part over here. We’re spreading awareness. It took time to gather up all the facts though. Without them, it’s too easy for whites to gaslight and say “oh, it’s just bad apples”.

don’t shield them from racist white American behaviour

This is a major problem with Asians. From my research, instead of identifying and fighting it, they just put their head in the sand and “be the bigger man”, which just emboldens bullies to no end. It’s like turning us into punching bags.

Ya, I don’t have the exact figure but it’s extremely bad. Those are only for marriage too. Dating/sex is going to be much larger. It’s the same across Anglo nations.
