These people thank white people for rescuing them from war-torn Indo-China and bringing them to the “land of opportunity”, without acknowledging that USA(under Eisenhower’s administration) was the real warmonger in Vietnam. They used to be staunchly red voters, but things may change as alt-right rising.
The rise of alt-right and Tea Party had transformed GOP into a less minority-tolerant party,
although the same party had applied “Southern Strategy” to harvest anti-black sentiment every election since Nixon in 1968. Now GOP aims at Hispanic folks and fast-growing Asian immigrants as new scapegoats of redneck unemployment due to automation and globalization. “China is stealing our jobs.” Something like this kept appearing in Trump’s campaign, which inevitably stirred up the covert, long-standing Sinophobia and anti-Asian sentiment. For me, I see alt-right as nothing new but a rebranding of white nationalism.My question is: how to distract white America from the obsession of rising Asian hate? More and more hate crimes against Asians, both East Asians and South Asians are rising. Recently, an Indian-origin engineer was killed in a bar in Kansas; that was very devastating. Don’t forget “Chinese man whacked with umbrella on bus in Queens hate crime”, “Korean grandmother, 83, is ‘punched in the head by woman, 27, screaming white power’ in downtown LA - but it is NOT being investigated as a hate crime”(even in place with large Asian population) as well.

My question is: how to distract white America from the obsession of rising Asian hate?
Whatever method we try as a tiny minority would require great effort to go against the juggernaut of alt-right/Trump supporters. The facts are on our side, but who would help spread the message?
By facts, I mean:
● automation took away most of those jobs
● the elite sold them out
● USA enjoyed an unnatural position without competitors following the devastation of two world wars.
● Related to the point above, it also enjoyed immense brain drains from these devastated nations which gave it an unnatural tech lead.The loss of American economic dominance is simply the their position reverting back to the mean.
Now, this type of information can be spread, but we need media allies, but they’re such cowards, they may not even bother to help us share the message.
