One thing I disagree with Trevor here is there could be massive protests without any violence, rioting or damage to public/private property. It is not a rare thing, nor does rioting and protesting have any connections with each other. South Korea over the last couple of weeks has shown that it is possible. Millions of Koreans have protested for the resignation of President Park without any unlawful incidents.
