Pedestalized AMWF couples: actually most of them on YouTube are nowhere close to "woke" but one.

  • Since Asian community suffer from “women drain” planned by white America, I fully support pairing of AMXF, for the sake of Asian male well-being.

Imbalanced, overwhelming WMAF results in “missing women” in Asian community. About the cause, we say WMAF relationships to a large extent are based on white supremacy with Lus throw themselves to WM and help attack Asian community, esp. AM. This is the elephant in the chamber, undeniable true. Precaution is better than cure. How to raise daughters with in-group loyalty is a real topic for AZN. On the other hand, we don’t put too much hope on converting Lus back to our side. Brains of Lus are filled with internalized self-hating racism due to white media, white society propaganda. Due to the impact of social engineering, not only Lus, women from other groups denigrate our men as well.

It is true and will be true for the next 50 years: USA is a white-majority country; and we, as Asians, are the smallest minority compared to Hispanic and blacks. Huge chunk of Lus defected to white side; so some of our men must date out, with Latina, black women, and unavoidably Beckys, the racial brick wall. Before Asian community find its way to ensure female loyalty, rising of AMXF had already become an inevitable trend.

Not a fan of Beckys, but I myself had subscribed plenty of channels of AMXF, predominantly AMWF. I notice that most of them focus on raising kids, playing with cats, language learning, food, traveling…etc. Most of them don’t bother to touch any political topic, despite the fact that WF of AMWF living in the US have very good position to call out anti-AM racism. However, these couples avoid political/social issues to avoid losing subscribers since politics itself is polarized, esp. true in the US. It’s very sad that they have the microphone but did not make good use of it for the anti-propaganda purpose. Overall, Beckys are still white people, can’t really expect them (even the ones married to AM) to fight for our cause.

Not aiming to advertising for them, but among all purely entertaining AMXF channels, I found this one:
    Kat & Sid https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6CnMdDHTSa0IOUgThbZQNA
This is so far the most “woke” AMWF I was able to find on YouTube. I might be wrong since my personal horizon is very limited.

Why I said they share some “woke” characteristic, several videos as example:

How are Chinese People Treated in the US?

(He used Chinese to tell native Chinese and FOBs the anti-Asian racism in America, and sexpat/loser/misogynist WMAF)

Do American Girls Like Chinese Guys?

(In this video, they pointed out the unpopularity of AM as a result of anti-AM social engineering)

Chinese Guy & American Girlfriend React to Racist Fox News Chinatown Segment

(In this video, they called out white supremacy/Trump/anti-Asian racism from the FOX News reporter who mocked old Chinese in Chinatown who can’t speak English)

I see these videos refreshing on YouTube, although the information included is nothing new for me. But videos are just like memes and tweets can be easily shared and spread. Inspired by them, maybe making video on YouTube to discuss and analysis anti-Asian/anti-AM racism would be a good approach to awaken the public.

    My unsolicited two cents.

    They’re basically gas lighting themselves…

    ● ignorance - they think it is pretty much a past tense.
    ● denial - they knew that western countries set up sweat factories to pollute China and exploited cheap Chinese labors, but they would ascribe it as “destiny of poor country” instead of “economic colonization”.
    ● lesser evil - Chinese leaders make announcement to fight Western imperialism, from time to time. It is simply a lip service. / They think cooperation with the West is generally more beneficial than harmful: investment of Western capital helped boost Chinese economy anyway. They feel themselves in a win-win situation.
    ● inferiority complex - You know there is a “face culture” in China. Chinese people can be exploited/enslaved by the West as long as the West maintains its “face” and recognizes it is currently a rich and strong country.
    ● victim blaming - many progressive anti-Asians in the East who think Chinese culture is backward and deemed it as a major reason that the East falls behind the West (we know the real reason is colonial oppression). Intellectuals, as especially ones of younger generations, regard abandoning backward tradition of the East as progressive and liberal.

I find the last two particularly appalling.

There is opposition to these views, I hope? eg awareness of Western soft power/propaganda

Yes, most of them acknowledged the colonial history such as unequal treaties which Qing dynasty signed with the West, how UK occupied HK in history class. But they think it is pretty much a past tense. Do you know Chairman Mao once said “Chinese people finally stood up (against West)!!!” in the inauguration of PRC, Oct. 1, 1949? Thus, they knew that western countries set up sweat factories to pollute China and exploited cheap Chinese labors, but they would ascribe it as “destiny of poor country” instead of “economic colonization”.

Chinese leaders make announcement to fight Western imperialism, from time to time. It is simply a lip service. You know there is a “face culture” in China. Chinese people can be exploited/enslaved by the West as long as the West maintains its “face” and recognizes it is currently a rich and strong country. They think cooperation with the West is generally more beneficial than harmful: investment of Western capital helped boost Chinese economy anyway. They feel themselves in a win-win situation.

Notice there are also many progressive anti-Asians in the East who think Chinese culture is backward and deemed it as a major reason that the East falls behind the West (we know the real reason is colonial oppression). Intellectuals, as especially ones of younger generations, regard abandoning backward tradition of the East as progressive and liberal. I believe there are backward components of Eastern culture, and every culture (so as Western Culture); but the real reason we don’t see the Eastern culture as progressive is because the West invaded the East; ancient Eastern culture as a result is replaced by modern Western culture (modern culture in the East is totally white-washed, but seen as progressive).

Many people in the East don’t realize these blind spots.

@CivilRightsAZN …hmm…what do they think Western cultural imperialism is? They made announcements that they would fight it, but allow this? Seems very bizarre - like they don’t grasp what is going on.

  • @secondstrike
The government does not really care about what people think as long as they don’t organize anti-government demonstration or spread anti-government speech on the Internet.

    @CivilRightsAZN

Yes, it does. Quite depressing. The government does nothing to stop this crazy thinking?

  • @secondstrike
We know there is no democracy in China, which has authoritarian one-party system. As a result, most people have tendency of being apolitical (getting critical to the government may risk to get accusation of treason, tax-dodging…). They would think anyway America provides much more liberty in speech and political activities, and for much better economic life, they can task the risk at the cost of being second-class citizen.

Most FOBs or 1st gen immigrants have the “guest mindset”: not to interfere with affairs of the host country (US). Two major reasons why most first gen immigrants are not “woke” are 1. they feel more comfortable with compatriots to speak their native language 2. although many of them experience racial discrimination, they turn themselves into “denial mode”, believing coming to the US is the best decision.

Not only the political system, Native Asians also admire the technology and economic advancement of the West. They would worship whites as smartest, and capable people. Even though few immigrants achieved economic success, they still put whites on the pedestal since they believe their success in the West is partially a gift from whites. It’s very hard to combat this kind of internalized racism.
They would say "if any whites visit Asia would be treated as social outcast outsiders(actually pedestalized as Gods) "; “there is racism everywhere in the world”.

    Does my explanation help?

    @CivilRightsAZN

Interesting. Definitely not what I expected. Can you tell me why? I would have thought warning them about the racial aspects first would be most important? Correct me if I’m wrong here.

  • @secondstrike

I suggest start from economic prospect (path to immigration, income, living standard…) to cultural aspect(which places are suitable for AZNs to live…) and gradually lead to racial issues (pros and cons of immigration, social construct…).

Ok. You are from the mainland, do you know what would get their attention the best? We have lots of write ups. eg which topics, which angles, which needs and wants should we address to get convert them over?
